Just wanted to pass along another website. This site is not necessarily geared towards children with special needs, however I often find a lot of great info on the site that I can apply for my child that does have special needs and for his sister that does not show developmental delays. Also, if you subscribe you will get a newsletter from them with new updates every other week. The site is called Greatschools.com and it’s a website that shares tips on everything from lunch options, grade/age learning games and activities, to postings and ratings on your district’s public school by parents that have children that attend. And, so much more! You can post questions to your school group and get a lot of great insights. I really think is great for parents that have kids entering kindergarten for the first time. Additionally, they just added a section on tips to help kids with learning disabilities which I found really informative. Not necessarily for now but for the future. Check it out…I don’t think you will be disappointed.
