Educational Activities

Standard

So, I am a week late and a dollar short on this one. But, I found a great website that has activities you can do with your children that range from fine motor, pre-reading, and social skills exercises. The exercises are great to do during break because it is similar to what they do during the school hours. It appears that the site is geared towards educators but very simple to navigate and conduct many of the activities at home. What are really like is the free worksheets and flashcards they provide. The site is http://www.positivelyautism.com/links.html. And, any child can benefit, it doesn’t matter if they have been diagnosed with autism or not. So, although the vacation is coming to a close…we have another big one coming up in April. So, maybe some of these activities will come in handy then! I will post some other activities in the “other things to keep our kids busy section” (right hand side bar)
